Home Care Support

Services are provided to assist you to maintain independence with everyday household tasks as arranged with an Assessment Officer.

Home Support Workers are trained to assist you with tasks such as:

  • General housekeeping of essential areas such as bathroom, toilet, kitchen, laundry, living area and bedroom.
  • Shopping
  • Payment of accounts
  • Meal preparation assistance
  • Other duties, as arranged with an Assessment Officer, based on need.

Personal Care Support

Personal care support provides assistance with tasks that a person is now unable to do without assistance, due to illness, disability or frailty.

Specially trained staff can assist you with your personal care including:

  • Bathing, showering or sponging
  • Dressing and undressing
  • Toileting and grooming
  • Eating and drinking, including cooking, preparation of food and special diets
  • Monitoring of self medication.
