What is a permit and why do you need one?
Manningham administers and enforces regulations around keeping animals, burning off, building, parking, footpath trading and other health and safety issues. A permit allows a person to perform actions in accordance with permit conditions which under normal circumstances they would not be able to do.
What types of permits are available in Manningham?
A permit is required in Manningham for the following:
- Asset protection works
- Building works
- Burning off
- Keeping of Additional Animals
- Footpath Trading
There are other areas when a permit is required such as filming, placing a skip bin, shipping container or other general obstruction on Council land. The General Application For A Permit (49.63 KB) form is used for these types of permit applications.
