Monday 24 July 2017, 7.00 am to 11.00 am

Smoking is now off the table in Manningham. Hospitality and food businesses across Manningham are invited to attend one of two information sessions on the latest changes to the Tobacco Act 1987.

The sessions to be held at the Manningham Civic Centre are designed to inform and support businesses required to adopt the latest changes, which ban smoking in outdoor areas from 1 August 2017.

The Victorian Government ban will cover all outdoor dining areas at restaurants, café, take away shops and licenced premises. It will also cover food fairs and within 10 metres of food stalls and vendors at organised community events.

The sessions will enable hospitality businesses to speak to Council experts and access to signs and resources to help inform their customers.
