Buck Flats provides important horse riding facilities including an equestrian cross country course and an all weather menage. It also contains an area of significant remnant vegetation and forms part of the Mullum Mullum Creek Linear Park.

Paths and trails
- From the trail marker near the carpark, follow the unsealed path alongside Mullum Mullum Creek.
- When you cross the footbridge that takes you onto the sealed path, walk back on the other side of the Mullum Mullum Creek to complete the circuit. Approximately 3 kms.
