Building bridges through story

Inspirational stories can break down walls that divide and build lasting bridges to an inclusive community that welcomes difference and celebrates diversity. Join us to be part of a bridge building project that could change lives.

Come and listen to inspirational storytellers from diverse backgrounds – indigenous, LGBTIQ+ asylum seekers and refugees – who found bridges to cross to ‘new life’.

There will also be opportunity to ‘grab a cuppa’ and chat to some ‘story tellers’ in small groups and to be part of an interactive bridge building experience by adding you own jig saw pieces to a mock bridge.

The day will begin with Welcome to Country and Smoking Ceremony.

Food and drink will be available all afternoon for a small cost.
