A message from Manningham Council

In line with the Victorian Government’s coronavirus (COVID-19) roadmap, there has been some welcome changes to stage four restrictions this week.

Our playgrounds and outdoor exercise equipment across Manningham have now re-opened and we are pleased to welcome people back to these spaces.

We understand this will be affecting everyone across our community in different ways including our local businesses, residents and community clubs and groups.

We’re here to help with our Community Connect service available seven days a week.

Stage four restrictions

The current stage four restrictions remain in place in metropolitan Melbourne with now include:

  • A curfew across metropolitan Melbourne in place from 9.00pm to 5.00am
  • Two people or a household can meet outdoors for a maximum of two hours per day
  • Anyone who lives alone or is a single parent, with all children under 18, can form a social bubble to have one nominated visitor to their home

Remember under stage four restrictions you must stay within five kilometres of your home if you need to leave home for any of the four permitted reasons.

Everyone must wear a face covering when they leave home, unless an exception applies.

For full details of the restrictions, visit dhhs.vic.gov.au/coronavirus

Playgrounds now open

This week we have been pleased to reopen our playspaces and outdoor fitness equipment for our community to enjoy.

When you’re visiting these and other parks and outdoor spaces for exercise, remember to help keep everyone safe by maintaining a physical distance of 1.5 metres, regularly washing your hands with hand sanitiser or soap and wearing a mask at all times.
