Walking is gentle on your body and suitable for people of all ages and fitness levels. It’s a great way to catch up with a friend and be active at the same time.

There are a range of local walking groups available in Manningham.

Heart Foundation Walks

Join Australia’s largest free community-based walking network. Heart Foundation Walking aims to make regular physical activity enjoyable and easy, especially for people who are not used to being active. Walking groups can be any size and walk at various times, distances, days and levels of difficulty. Join or start your own Heart Foundation Walking group in Manningham today.

When: 2nd and 4th Monday of every month
Time: 9.15 am - 10.15 am

Walking for Pleasure with Agnes Zordan

When: Tuesday (during school term)
Time: 9.30 am
Where: Ted Ajani Reserve, 2/284 Thompsons Rd, Lower Templestowe

Do you enjoy walking in natural surroundings and meeting people? Come and explore different walks with our walking group. This group is open to men and women of all ages. Don’t forget to bring a water bottle, wear comfortable clothing, a sun hat and walking shoes. Fee: $2.50 per walk.

Wonga Walkers

Social Walking Group

When: Once a month on a Thursday
Time: 10.00 am - 2.30 pm
Where: Various locations, contact Park Orchards Learning Centre

This group walks to new and interesting places and then enjoys lunch afterwards. Lunch is at your own cost.
