Fitzsimons Lane is getting an upgrade to make it easier and safer to get you where you need to be.

The Victorian Government’s Major Road Project Team will improve four intersections in Eltham and Templestowe to improve traffic and cycling across the Yarra River.

The upgrade works are now coming up and BMD Constructions have been awarded the contract to deliver the project. For more information see Major Road Project Victoria’s February 2021 project update.

Over the next few months, you may see contractors completing site investigations, spending time setting up safe work areas and then starting to relocate or protect utility services and build drainage in the area.

The Fitzsimons Lane Upgrade plans to reduce congestion in peak periods to provide more reliable travel times, improve safety and make walking and cycling around the community safer.
