The playspace and park in Templestowe Lower has had a major upgrade with a new play area created to cater for all ages and abilities.
Upgraded concrete paths now provide a 500 metre circuit for bikes, scooters and walkers, which links to a new round multi-purpose court. A series of interesting animal sculptures and a community herb garden will be installed soon.
Places and spaces
Highlights of the upgrade include:
- a distinctive 20 metre-long snake sculpture which sits as the centrepiece and even glows in the dark
- play equipment including a six-way swing set - the first of its kind in Manningham
- multi climbing and slide unit
- basket swing
- spinning pole
