Manningham Matters - 2 July 2020
Message from our Mayor and Councillors
We are all adjusting to our new way of life as the restrictions begin to ease. I would like to thank you all for your continued patience and commitment, as it’s keeping our families and neighbours healthy and safe.
Thankfully, we are not experiencing the more stringent lockdowns which have recently been reintroduced in some other suburbs across Melbourne. However, this is no reason to relax our vigilance with COVID-19, and I encourage everyone to familiarise yourself with the current advice from the Department of Health and Human Services.
As COVID-19 continues to affect the health, wellbeing and financial stability of many, we are assisting in community recovery by offering a new series of COVID-19 community relief grants ranging from $3,000 to $75,000. Applications will open on Monday 6 July. To join the community grants program mailing list for updates, please visit our Community Grant Program page.
