Get Active in 2020

Manningham Nature Stewards is designed by Outdoors Victoria specifically for residents living and working in Manningham’s Green Wedge or who qualify for the Local Environment Assistance Fund (LEAF).

Run by expert facilitators this 10 week introductory environmental education program will introduce you to local geology, plants, animals, waterways, climate and ecosystems. The program includes four outdoor field sessions offering you an opportunity to explore your local natural areas. This is a fantastic opportunity to meet locals, connect with nature and protect our environment.

Nature Stewards is best suited to those with little or no formal environmental education or background and is open to anyone with an interest in learning more about their local environment.

  • Adults: $175
  • Concession: $45 (Healthcare card holders, pensioners, full time students)

Applicants must be over 18 years of age.

Nature Stewards has a limited intake of 20 people.
