Solar Savers is a local government initiative that helps households and businesses to install quality and affordable rooftop solar and batteries. Eligible residents and businesses with suitable rooftops for solar will receive a free quote, including indicative costs, rebates, and expected energy and cost savings.

We are working with Maroondah City Council through the Eastern Alliance for Greenhouse Action (EAGA) to help residents and businesses save money and reduce emissions through the Solar Savers program.

By installing rooftop solar through Solar Savers, residents and businesses in participating Councils can reduce energy bills and future-proof against increasing energy costs, while supporting a transition to clean, renewable energy.

Solar Savers will provide extra assistance for pension or healthcare card holders, by assessing their electricity bills to make sure solar is a good financial option. They can also advise on the current State Government rebate and loan offers, which can help to reduce the upfront costs of solar installation.
