Manningham Council is seeking community feedback to help inform a review of its planning scheme, which guides land use and development in Manningham.

The review aims to ensure the planning scheme addresses local land use and development issues, as well as current state and local planning policy.

Council is inviting feedback across five key themes:

  1. Neighbourhood character and residential development
  2. Traffic, transport and car parking
  3. Urban design and public spaces
  4. Activity centres and economic development
  5. Our environment and the Green Wedge.

Manningham Mayor Cr Andrew Conlon said feedback received will help inform the planning scheme review and other strategic planning initiatives for Council.

“We review the Manningham Planning Scheme every four years to make sure that it is meeting the needs of the local area and is in line with State Government and local planning policy objectives,” Cr Conlon said.

“I encourage community members to get involved and tell us what they would like to see prioritised to assist us in developing the recommendations for the review.”
