Manningham Council is seeking feedback from all residents on how to make Manningham a more inclusive and welcoming place to live, work and play.

The draft Inclusive Manningham Strategy and Action Plan are on public exhibition and available for review and feedback until 5.00pm, Monday 13 August.

Manningham Mayor Cr Andrew Conlon said feedback from the community would help finalise the Strategy and Action Plan.

“It will help guide us on how we can be a more welcoming and inclusive community,” he said.

“The draft strategy focuses on enhancing inclusion for our diverse communities, with a focus on disability, ethnicity and culture, language, faith, gender, sexual identity and gender equity.”

The draft strategy focuses on four key priority areas:
1. Protecting and promoting human rights
2. Enhancing our workplace culture and leadership
3. Offering our community equitable opportunities for social and economic inclusion
4. Valuing diversity and creating a welcoming community.
