In early 2020, local artist Noha Aly facilitated a series of four painting on canvas sessions for families.

The sessions were focused on promoting the many health benefits of creating artwork and sharing the joy of painting as a family. Whilst being guided by Aly, participants explored non-verbal language and personal wellness through the release of stress and anxiety.

This small exhibition, on display in the foyer of Manningham City Square, is a colourful and joyful celebration of the work of the workshop participants.

Painting on Canvas Workshops were supported by Manningham Community Strengthening Grants, which provides funding for one-off activities that support community strengthening initiatives and improve the quality of life for Manningham residents.
