About the Sleep and settling program
Through the Maternal and Child Health Sleep and Settling initiative, we are providing support for parents experiencing sleep and settling concerns with their young children.
Free information sessions are available to help you understand your baby’s sleep needs and to support you to make changes that will help you get more sleep.
We are offering sessions for specific age groups;
- Newborn babies
- Babies between the ages of 6 and 8 months
- Toddlers aged between 18 and 24 months.
We encourage you to attend each age group session as your baby grows and develops.
Most sessions will be held at the Doncaster MC2 building, but we will also be running sessions in the Warrandyte area and webinars for those who prefer to attend online.
Sessions are also available in Mandarin and Farsi. Bookings for these sessions can be made directly with your MCH nurse.
We also have home visit consultations available for families who are having more severe difficulties with sleep and settling. Please speak to your MCH nurse at your next visit, or discuss this option with our Sleep and Settling Specialist when you attend an information session.
More information about sleep and settling can be found on the Better Health Channel website.
Please note, these sessions are only available for Manningham Maternal and Child Health clients.
