Young people who are keen to experience how a workplace looks, feels and operates will have this opportunity through the new Manningham Youth Employment Pathways Project.

This project will give young people aged 14 to 18 years real work experience to provide them a pathway to employment.

For many young people, this will be their first time in a workplace, and is especially important now as many missed the usual opportunities available with work experience and other placements during the lockdowns and COVID-19 restrictions in 2020.

If you are or know of a young person that would benefit from a volunteering opportunity at a Manningham organisation or business, call Kate Deliyiannis at the Manningham Volunteer Resource Service on 0455 512 375 or email Kate.Deliyiannis@easternvolunteers.org.au to have a chat.

Likewise, if you are an organisation or business that would benefit from a motivated volunteer, you are also invited to get in touch.

This project is a collaboration between Manningham Volunteer Resource Service, Manningham Youth Services and Gateway Local Learning and Employment Network. This project was proudly supported by Manningham Council’s Community Grant Program.
