Get active during November with Walk to School

Vic Health's Walk to School initiative encourages kids to develop healthy, active habits when they’re young, which sets them up for healthy, active lives.

In 2021 Walk to School month is being held in November.  We are encouraging Victorian families to be active any way they can during November. Kids can walk, ride, scoot or skate to and from school if they’re back in the classroom, or around their local neighbourhood if they’re learning from home. Any way you can get active is great!

Local primary schools can support students and their families to walk, ride or scoot to school by promoting the initiative during the month of November.

Vic Health has provided a number of activity worksheets for schools to use. The worksheets are simple and flexible. So, if your students are back in the classroom or learning from home the worksheets suit both environments.
