Aquarena transformed into a burst of colour for Pride Night on 11 February, shining a light on diversity and inclusion for the LGBTQIA+ (lesbian, gay, bisexual, transgender, intersex and queer) community.

Holly Pop, drag queen performer and host, and the DJ’s party tunes made for a dazzling experience.

Attendees were also given the opportunity to participate in exercise sessions, including water aerobics, spin class and Zumba.

The event then closed with a sweet surprise, with everyone taking home a rainbow Paddle Pop ice-cream.

Pride Night is an inclusive gym and swim night for the LGBTIQA+ community and their allies.

The evening is about providing a safe and welcoming recreation space for the community to come together, participate in exercise and have some fun.

Thanks to the efforts of the volunteers, sponsors, and all who joined in the fun.

Pride Night was a wonderful celebration of diversity, inclusivity and wellness and a night to remember for the whole community.
