VicRoads is planning upgrades along Doncaster Road and Blackburn Road, to create new dedicated citybound bus lanes and improve the Doncaster Area Rapid Transport (DART) bus routes.

Doncaster Road 

Works along Doncaster Road will take place between the Doncaster ‘Park and Ride’ facility and the Eastern Freeway entrance and are expected to start in early August. The upgrade is expected be completed in September 2018.

Blackburn Road

Works along Blackburn Road, between Canopus Drive and Bellevue Avenue, are expected to start in early September 2018. The upgrade is expected be completed by the end of September 2018.

Bus services will continue operating during works.
