Old TV monitors, computer screens and other electronic waste piled up together

Waste Drop Off Day is an opportunity for you to drop off and recycle any unwanted items that cannot normally be placed in your household bins. This event is free and open to Manningham residents only. Did you know that an amazing 90% of all waste we collect on this day will be recycled into new products? 

The following items will be accepted:

  • Televisions
  • LCD/FLAT/CRT monitors
  • Copiers, scanners, fax machines and printers (please remove ink cartridges)
  • Laptops/PC/desktop/tower servers, cabinet servers
  • Computer accessories (e.g. keyboard, mice, cables, webcams)
  • Storage media (e.g. tapes, discs, memory sticks)
  • Cameras and photographic equipment
  • VCR & DVD players
  • DVDs and CDs 
  • Portable devices (e.g. two-way radios, pagers, MP3 players)
  • Game consoles, electronic toys, hobby equipment
  • Small household electrical items (e.g. hairdryers, toasters, kettles, shavers)
  • X-rays
  • Smoke alarms
  • Paint and spray cans (10 litres maximum – no commercial quantities will be accepted)
  • Gas bottles (BBQ cylinders)
  • Fluorescent tubes and globes
  • Household batteries
  • Cardboard
  • Polystyrene blocks (no pellets or balls)

When: Saturday, 20 May 2017 8.00 am - 4.00 pm – Register a time slot
Where: Location will be provided upon registration
