Help set the artistic direction of our community for the next four years by providing feedback on two draft art policies.

The Draft Manningham Art Collection Policy focuses on the shift to permanent public art, with visual art acquisitions either through Cultural Gifts donations or unique acquisitions with a strong connection to our cultural legacy.

Meanwhile, the Draft Public Art Policy includes a commitment that 1% of all community infrastructure project budgets for projects over $2 million would be allocated to public art.

Find out more and have your say. Consultation will close at 5.00pm, Sunday 23 May.

We also have two art proposal deadlines closing on Friday 30 May. Call for proposals for Manningham Art Gallery's 2022 exhibition program is now open. If you have a great idea, contact our curator on 9840 9382 to discuss, or find out more here.

Our Arts Manningham FAIR (Fellowship & Artist in Residence) program is also now open for its next round of proposals. This is a relatively new program of small fellowships to support local artists to research and develop ideas for new arts programs, installations and performances.

The program provides recipients up to $6,000, over two phases, to develop and implement projects that provide engaging arts experiences for our community and encourage visitors to the region. Find out more and apply.
