Bulleen Tennis Club got its start in the 1960’s when the Bulleen Woman’s Group proposed tennis as a way of welcoming newcomers to the area and getting them involved in the local community. When two porous courts were constructed and donated in March 1962, the club was officially up and running!

This year the club is celebrating its 60 years, continuing to serve the Manningham community.

You can find Bulleen Tennis Club next to Ted Adjani Reserve on Thompsons Road in Lower Templestowe. It offers services and facilities to members and casual players – there’s coaching, social and competitive tennis no matter what your age or level of experience.

Today there are six well-maintained porous clay courts, four Plexi-Cushion hardcourts and a newly renovated clubhouse with indoor and outdoor seating areas.

Bulleen Tennis Club recently installed a new gate access system, linked with Tennis Australia’s online court booking software ‘Book a Court’. The system allows both members and casual players to book courts, pay online and access the venue using their own access PIN, ensuring lights automatically turn on for night bookings.
