The Victorian Electoral Commission (VEC) has formally announced the results of the 2016 Manningham Council elections with five councillors being returned and four new councillors joining the team for the next four years.

The successful candidates are:

Koonung Ward

Dot Haynes (returning)

Anna Chen

Mike Zafiropoulos

Mullum Mullum Ward

Andrew Conlon

Paul McLeish (returning)

Sophy Galbally (returning)

Manningham Chief Executive Officer Warwick Winn said the Councillors elect will be formally sworn in at a Special Meeting of Council next Tuesday 8 November 2016 and congratulated them on their election.

“On behalf of Manningham staff and the local community I offer my congratulations to our new Council.”

“These are exciting and challenging times ahead. The organisation and I look forward to working with our new Council over the next four years,” Mr Winn said.
