We would like to warn everyone in our community to be wary of online scams and people pretending to be Manningham Council. We have recently been made aware of fraudsters selling tickets and sharing fake links for our very popular Parenting Seminar Series.

We remind everyone to please be aware of these scams and not to take up any suspicious offers.

Our Parenting Seminar Series has grown in popularity over the last few months as pressure has increased on families during lockdown and the various restrictions, and the series quickly adapted from live events to online webinars to support families through the crisis.

Since May, we have hosted eight live and pre-recorded webinars on parenting featuring some of Australia’s best parent educators and adolescence psychologists, such as Dr Michael Carr-Gregg and Steve Biddulph. More than 7,000 people have participated in these webinars on topics including raising resilient kids during the coronavirus era, managing year 11 and 12 in the face of uncertainty and Raising Girls and Raising Boys.

We want to reassure the community that we always try to make our webinars more accessible and offer additional sessions when possible.

Make sure you follow us on social media and visit our Parenting Seminar Series webpage to keep up-to-date on our parenting events.
