If you are over 65 years old, you may be eligible for a new door-to-door bus service to help you with your essential shopping needs. With this trial service, you can also attend local recreational activities to stay connected with your community.

Our Assisted Transport Service provides transport from your home to destinations around Manningham like local shopping centres and community centres.

To be eligible, you will need to be:

  • a resident of Manningham
  • over 65 years of age (over 50 years for Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander people)
  • be assessed as transport disadvantaged
  • independent with mobility (we can transport some mobility aids and wheelchairs)

The service operates Monday to Friday and passengers are charged a fee of $6.70 per day.

Throughout the trial, we will review customer feedback and information about usage patterns.

There will be times when we may not meet all requests for the service. The information will help us improve the service for the future.

If you are interested in knowing more about this service, please contact our Aged and Disability Support Service on 9840 9700 or visit our website for more information.
