Changes to the Eastern Freeway

From mid-November, drivers will notice reduced speed limits and changes to travel on the Eastern Freeway.

North East Link Program (NELP) will be working between Burke Road and Doncaster Road in preparation for major works to deliver the Eastern Freeway upgrades, which will get underway in early 2024.

To stay safe, please follow all instructions from signage and traffic controllers.

Bulleen Road will also be closed for North East Link works from Friday 24 November to Tuesday 5 December.
