The Currawong Bush Park Conference Centre in Reynolds Road, Doncaster has undergone a major refurbishment.

The conference centre is now a spacious and functional facility following the removal and reconfiguration of internal walls, new toilets and fresh paint and carpet.

The 180 thousand dollar works also included kitchen modifications, the replacement of wall tiling and the installation of new air conditioning units.

Manningham Mayor, Cr Paul McLeish, said the renovated centre would offer a unique function experience in a natural bush setting.

“The Currawong Bush Park Conference Centre is surrounded by 50 hectares of tranquil bushland and this much needed facelift has made it an attractive option for businesses, schools and community groups.”

The conference room is surrounded by a landscaped and paved outdoor area, with picnic and barbecue facilities, and is only 30 minutes from the City via the Eastern Freeway.

The conference centre is available for hire for small functions, meetings and seminars.
