Manningham soccer clubs will soon have a new home-field advantage, as the $8.6 million upgrade to improve the recreation and soccer facilities at Pettys Reserve has begun.

As part of the upgrade, two synthetic soccer pitches with floodlighting will be installed, and a new pavilion with modular change rooms, a multipurpose room, public restrooms and a spectator area.

Works around Pettys Reserve will also include developing an asphalt car park, a new playground and landscaping.
