This drainage upgrade is complete!

Thank you for your patience and understanding while we worked to improve the drainage in your area.

We’re installing a drainage system for some properties on Elizabeth Street, Bulleen, to prevent stormwater from running downstream and impacting properties on Bulleen Road. This project is part of our 2023/24 Capital Works Program.

Where is it?

The new drainage system will be installed into the easement of properties 1 and 2/3 Elizabeth. The system will connect properties 1, 2/3 and 5 Elizabeth Street with the current drainage system on Bulleen Road, via 222 Bulleen Road.

Why is it needed?

The new drains will redirect stormwater, preventing it from causing any nuisance flooding on Bulleen Road during minor storm events.

When will the works happen?

We expect to begin construction in late October and complete the project by December 2023, depending on weather.

How will the works affect me?

During these works, there may be some noise, as well as some disruptions to property access and on street parking.

Any residents who will be directly impacted by the works will be notified prior to any works affecting their property. We will make every effort to minimise disruptions during construction.
