Explore the velvety goodness and immediate colour satisfaction of pastels.
Our tutor Linda will guide beginners through the basics. The more intermediate students will receive more advanced techniques. Have fun and discover your creativity by learning techniques, colour, tone, perspective and much more.

Session 1: Thursday 4 March, 10.00am to 11.30am
Session 2: Thursday 11 March, 10.00am to 11.30am
Session 3: Thursday 18 March, 10.00am to 11.30am
Session 4: Thursday 25 March, 10.00am to 11.30am
Materials required
- Variety of soft pastels - you can start with a students’ set and then add to it
- Smooth, sturdy backing board
- Pastel paper (e.g. Canson or Colourfix)
- Apron
- Sturdy easel (tabletop or standalone)
- Charcoal
- Bulldog clips or masking tape to hold paper to board
Bookings are essential and numbers are strictly limited.
All visitors to the Art Studios and its offsite venues will be required to register their attendance via QR Code upon arrival, and comply with current COVID-19 guidelines, including social distancing and the wearing of face masks when social distancing cannot be practiced.
