Permits

Manningham Council neither endorses nor disapproves of activities of a political, religious or other nature. Therefore, we do not issue permits for rallies, demonstrations, protests, vigils, processions or similar activities.

Vehicle access

Manningham Council cannot facilitate vehicle access to our parks, gardens, reserves, and hard spaces, nor permit the use of infrastructure during such events.

If you are organising a demonstration, rally, or public assembly on Manningham Council land:

  • Manningham Council cannot facilitate vehicle access to our parks, gardens, reserves, and hard spaces.
  • Manningham Council cannot permit the use of infrastructure during such events. 
  • You cannot set up food and other stalls. Activities involving food service necessitate both an event and a food permit.
