We’re extending the footpath on the southern side of Websters Road, Templestowe in 2024.

Where is it?

The new footpath will be on the southern side of the road, between Sunny Rise and Blackburn Road, connecting the existing footpaths at each end.

When will the works happen?

Works are scheduled to begin later in the 2023/24 financial year and will likely take around six weeks to complete, depending on weather conditions.

Why are the works needed?

These works will connect the footpath from Newmans Road to Blackburn Road, providing a designated pathway for pedestrian to access local businesses and the Mullum Mullum Trail.

How will the works affect me?

We’ll be working between 7.00am and 5.00pm on weekdays.

During this time, you may be impacted by:

  • Construction noise
  • A single lane closure (southern lane) on Websters Road. We’ll have signage and traffic management on site to guide you through the area.
  • Temporary disruptions to driveway access for properties adjoining the footpath.  If your access will be affected, our contractor will contact you directly and well in advance to provide notice. Emergency vehicles will always have priority access throughout the construction period.

There will be no disruption to bin collections. In the unlikely event that a scheduling change is required, we will let any impacted residents know in advance.
