Holiday fun for kids at MC Square Community Garden

Manningham Council is hosting a series of free fun school holiday planting activities at the MC² Community Garden from 12 to 19 January.

Located behind MC² (Manningham City Square) at 687 Doncaster Road in Doncaster, the MC² Community Garden is a space where local residents and community members can come together and grow delicious food.
The activities are hands on and suitable for children of all ages, these include:

Kids Garden Dance Plant
Tuesday 12 January and Thursday 14 January
9.30 am – 10.30 am

Spend a morning planting vegetables and herb seedlings, mulching, watering and of course having fun to music. We will discuss what has been planted and how the garden grows. Children will also take home their own decorated potted veggie plant.

Wiggly Worm Lovers
Tuesday 19 January
9.30 am – 10.30 am

Come along and get up close and personal with some amazing wiggly worms and learn about these interesting creatures.

Each of the events will be held in the MC² Community Garden, located behind MC², in Hummel Way, next to the Doncaster Primary School student drop off zone.

Bookings are essential and places are limited to 15 for each session.
