Lodge a Planning Property Enquiry

A Planning Property Enquiry is formal written advice from Council providing confirmation of planning permit requirements for buildings, works or uses of land.

This advice can assist in determining whether or not a planning permit or other consent may be required for a proposal, minimise the risks involved in starting work before a permit is issued, or fulfil third parties’ requirements for the provision of written confirmation from Council.

Planning Property Enquiries are lodged online, and can be paid in one of two ways. Simply follow the links below to begin lodging your request.

Pay now: Planning Property Enquiry

Pay by credit or debit card when the application is lodged.

Pay later: Planning Property Enquiry

Receive an invoice to pay by credit card, BPAY or PostBillPay after the application is lodged. This invoice may be forwarded to a third party for payment

Requests must include plans and/or details of your proposal, and a recently searched copy of your property title, including any registered restrictions and agreements.

You are encouraged to discuss your proposal with your neighbours to see if any issues could be resolved before you apply.
